Former
LaZers athlete, Nate Hedrick, was drafted by the New York Mets in
the 8th round! Yes, it's true! The Mets web-page states: "The
Mets chose 13 pitchers who are 6-foot-3 or taller, including
6-foot-10 Nathan Hedrick of Barton County Community College..."
Nate, a 2005 homeschool graduate, played baseball and basketball
with the LaZers. Congratulations, Nate and best wishes! |
